LABOR PRODUCTIVITY AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT AS AGGREGATE FACTORS OF COMPETITIVENESS OF REGIONAL ENTERPRISES

Abstract

In the article the methodology of productivity, the productivity of capital, and total factor productivity. Details are researched total factor productivity, depending on the cost of capital, labor and other factors, including the impact on the production of science, as well as phenomena of technological progress. Using statistical data shows that despite positive developments in the process of updating the fixed assets and restoration of active investment activity, the problem a timely and significantly increase productivity, upgrading of production of powerful values and increase in total factor productivity remains for regional industrial enterprises unresolved. According to the authors, to resolve the issue of competitiveness of the enterprises with innovation, enhance productivity; improve the quality of management and labor resources and appropriate incentives. In order to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises in the region, the authors consider the need for the development of technical processes at the enterprises of the region, and proposes practical recommendations aimed at improving productivity through modernization of fixed assets of the region's economy, improving the efficiency of management and quality of labor resources.
