Justification for significant contribution to the development of the relevant area of knowledge
The field of scientific interest:
Bioenergy of plant and animal cells. Study of the physiological role of free oxidation processes, in particular unconscionable and disjointed breathing.
Key scientific results:
- Discovering the role of alternative oxidase in regulating the rate of formation of active oxygen forms in plants;
- studies the contribution of anion vectors to the dissociation of breathing and oxidative phosphorylation by free fatty acids;
- Identification of molecular and genetic mechanisms for regulating the synthesis of components of the mitochondrial electron transport chain.
Contribution to the development of science:
more than 400 scientific publications
